Photos From 2009

With nights like The Formal Dinner, some Wide Games in the bush and of course the Model Photoshoot.

Square Dance - 10/10/09

Late on in the term we hosted a most speldid evening, of fine foods, friends and, dare I say, fancies. Where good folk gathered and danced away the night to sublime tunes and an esteemed guest caller...

"Heel, toe. Heel, toe. Now swing your partner by the arm... left, right, do-san-do and now watch out for the other.." *crash* "Ow!" - "Hey, you're not my partner...?!?"

Wide Games - 12/09/09

Wide Games turned out to be very, well, wide. We hiked over a hill to get to the play field (which was more of a forest than a field). Sneaking around in the dark we could remain undetected and try to get points. We all had a coloured glow stick to show who's side we were on...

Aaron Bell was our guest Devo-er, who came all the way from Canada to talk to us as we sat round a camp fire.

Formal Dinner - 29/08/09
What can I say? The evening was fantastic. Livewire joined with the Impact team to have a fabulous night of food, fun, fancy-dress and funky-dancing.

However, not all went to plan. In the beggining we underestimated the number of guests and so there weren't enough chairs or food for us all! Luckily, Em knew just what to do

Ok, ok so there were infact plenty (of seats and food) for all and the night kicked into action very soon.

A Special thanks to Naomi, Stefan, Barnaby and Mia (and Greg) for supplying the night's live music!

We also had some testimonies about hope from some of the Impact leaders.

The night wrapped up with much dancing, jumping and hugging.
Barnaby proved to us that white men can jump... from chairs.

A BIG thinks to all who helped out on the night!

Clay Cafe - 07/08/09
We all went around to Robert Gordon Pottery and painted something to take home. Some of us painted each other but weren't allowed to take them home.

Bonfire - 09/05/09
A great bonfire at the Brough's with damper and games. It did take a little while to get the fire going. Some of the boys thought the best way to light it would be from the inside. They got out safely.

Bronwyn gave her testimony and some amazing insight along with it.

More Nights to come...
