You can’t get lost in the crowd if you belong to a Growth Group. Our aim is to have all the members of St James involved some way or another in a small group where we can get to know each other much better.

There are over 25 different groups in the Parish including Prayer Groups on Monday and Wednesdays, the Craft Group on Tuesdays, there is a Men’s Dinner on the first Friday of each month at 7pm, there are music groups of different ages, leadership teams, vestry and wardens, young adults, youth groups and kids club, BCA and then there are the Bible Study groups.

The Bible Study based Growth Groups meet in people’s homes either weekly of fortnightly depending on the group. Some groups meet on Tuesday Evenings and others during the day. At times the groups may decide to have a meal together or to go out. The groups are a wonderful support, a way to get to know others and to get to understand the Bible, a place where you can pray together and grow in your faith.
