Children and Families are welcomed and catered for at St James. We have a dedicated Family Minister Stephen Petering who along with teams of volunteers provides a great atmosphere for children to enjoy life and learn about Jesus and his love for them.


The Dream Factory is a Kids’ Club that runs from after School each Wednesday till 5.30pm. There is always a good afternoon tea, craft activities, games, stories, music and sometimes puppets. There is also a time for the children to pray for each other. The Dream factory caters for Primary aged children and is free, though any donations are gratefully accepted. Check it out here.

Ruffles is the Mayor of Crosstown though Miss Bel has to keep him in line at times! He is a favorite with the children and helps to teach the lessons of life, usually by learning the hard way! Crosstown is the Sunday Morning Worship time for families with primary aged children. It includes singing, video clips, puppets and small group learning times. Click here to find out more.

Youth at Church (Y@C) is for younger Teens who can come upstairs to the Youth Lounge for an interesting and interactive learning time on Sunday Mornings during the 10:15 service, they come down and join the rest of the service in time for Holy Communion. See what else is on offer for the Youth.
