Thanks for visiting our homepage and welcome to us as Church and as a family. What holds us together here is our belief in Jesus Christ and our love for him. We come together at St James each Sunday to worship him. As members of God’s family we come together for spiritual nourishment. We also come to be loved by other people; we come for both acceptance and friendship. Here we belong to a special family of real, live, ordinary people who want to live, love, learn, struggle and grow together. There are lots of groups and activities within our church. These are simply stepping stones to us relating more openly and deeply with our Lord Jesus Christ and with each other. They provide ways for us to become more open to God’s grace and love and more protected against the hurt and disarray that Satan causes. There may be many reasons why you would like to visit us. You may be very happy at the moment or your life may be difficult in some way. You may have just moved into the area and be looking for somewhere to worship, or you may have just become interested in knowing more about God. Whatever the reason, we want to welcome you.
